Caprese Skewers

An Easy and Elegant Summer Appetizer

When the weather heats up, the best recipes are the ones that require zero cooking but still deliver on flavor and presentation. These Caprese Skewers are creamy, juicy, and bursting with freshness. Perfect for parties, casual gatherings, or a light snack by the pool, they’re a simple yet elegant way to enjoy summer’s best ingredients.

Ingredients

  • Cherry tomatoes

  • Mozzarella balls (bocconcini or ciliegine)

  • Fresh basil leaves

  • Balsamic glaze

  • Olive oil

  • Salt and pepper

  • Skewers or toothpicks







Instructions

Step 1:

Rinse the cherry tomatoes and basil leaves. Drain the mozzarella balls.


Step 2:

On each skewer or toothpick, thread one cherry tomato, one basil leaf (folded if large), and one mozzarella ball. Repeat until all ingredients are used.


Step 3:

Arrange the skewers on a serving platter.


Step 4:

Drizzle lightly with olive oil and balsamic glaze. Sprinkle with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.


Step 5:

Serve chilled or at room temperature.
